Lai Gloria

Born in the province of Sassari but Cagliaritana by origin and tradition, she graduated in Ancient Literature with a specialization in archaeology.

She collaborated with the Archaeological Superintendency for the provinces of CA and OR and, as a site manager, directed excavations in the archaeological sites of Guasila and Selargius between 1980 and 1984.

She obtained a two-year post-graduate specialization in Sardinian Studies in 2005. She earned a master’s degree in Teaching Italian to Foreigners from the University of Siena in 2011.

She taught Literary Subjects from 1984 to 2019; from 2001 to 2005, she was an Italian teacher at the Greek section of the Italian School of Athens, following a national competition for teaching Italian abroad.

An environmentalist and animal rights advocate, she has long been a resident of Quartu S.E.

Written works: 4 books of fairy tales and short stories, mostly with animal rights themes:
