The authors of the Dorian Festival

Boggio Antonio

Antonio Boggio, born in 1982, grew up in Carloforte, on the island of San Pietro, a small island to the southwest of Sardinia. He currently lives and works in Cagliari.

Some of his stories have appeared in anthologies published by various publishing houses: “Paranoie” (Cenacolo di Ares, 2014), “Ogni luogo ha la sua voce” (Palabanda edizioni, 2019).

With “Omicidio a Carloforte”, released last year also by Piemme, Boggio managed to stand out in a market saturated with proposals, with a convincing style and an engaging setting. The island of San Pietro, in fact, seems the ideal backdrop for thrillers that skillfully mix folklore, with its narrow streets (the “carruggi” of Carloforte) smelling of the sea, typical dishes and wines of the local tradition, and plots that combine the detective aspect with a more intimate narrative of the characters.

He is currently on a tour presenting his latest work: “Delitto della baia d’argento”, receiving great success throughout Sardinia and mainland Italy.
