Floris Patrizia
Patrizia Floris is an Italian writer born in Cagliari in 1958, living in Sardinia. She graduated in biology and worked as a biologist and scientific communicator before dedicating herself to writing. She loves reading and cats, and draws inspiration for her stories from personal experiences and the observation of human relationships and the places she knows.
She debuted in fiction with the novel “E se avessi paura?”, published by AmicoLibro, and since then has written several books characterized by engaging plots, deep emotions, and settings often recalling Sardinia. Her works include “Un tè a Marrakesh”, exploring friendship and cultural identity between Sardinia and Morocco, “Albert, l’ultima estate”, and “Quello che nasconde il mare”, the latter a finalist in literary contests.
In 2025, she published the novel “Margherita”, a narrative traversing historical and personal events, partly set in the lagoon area of Cagliari and surrounding Sardinia, exploring themes of love, friendship, and rebirth.
Floris combines her scientific background with deep narrative sensitivity, and her books often reflect her love for her homeland, its landscapes, and its atmosphere.
