“Io, la bottiglia e la vita” (Pettirosso Editore):

A girl forced to grow up too early, in a historical context where men had a preferred role both in families and society. Fears, frustrations, and doubts poured into a bottle, the only refuge where she could find peace. Then came marriage, pregnancies, and finally the choice to begin living. A story of alcoholism truly experienced, with a happy ending thanks to family and professionals who dedicate their lives to others. Simonetta Uccheddu tells a story at the limit of endurance, which transformed her into a street volunteer saving condemned lives.
