Saudino Matteo

Matteo Saudino has been teaching Philosophy and History for twenty years in high schools in Turin and is the creator of the popular YouTube channel “BarbaSophia”, which has over 310,000 subscribers and 45 million views.

He is the author of textbooks on civics, history, and philosophy, and has published the poetry collection “Fragili Mutanti” (2012). He is also the co-author with Chiara Foà of “Il Prof fannullone” (2017), “Cambiamo la scuola” (2021), and “Scuolitudine” (2022).

He has published “Sofia Express” (2023) with Salani and “La filosofia non è una barba” (2020) and “Ribellarsi con filosofia” (2022) with Vallardi, the latter of which is the inspiration for the theatrical performance “Vite ribelli” (2024).

He is the author of the podcast “Pensiero stupendo” (2023-24) and co-author of the textbook “Prima filosofare” (2024).
