Vinci Jean Claudio

Jean Claudio Vinci was born in Sanluri (SU) in 1980.

In 2000, he completed the Comic Book course at the Sardinian School in Cagliari, and since June of the same year, he has been a member of the Cultural Association Chine Vaganti in San Gavino Monreale.

Thanks to Chine, he published his first comics in the magazine “Macchie d’inchiostro”.

Since 2002, he has participated in numerous competitions for emerging authors, and in 2009 he was chosen among the scholarship recipients of “Lucca Workshow-Tessitori di Sogni” (a course held by Lucca Comics and Games and the agency Atlantyca Ent.) with the project “Radio Punx” (self-published comic in collaboration with Andrea Pau on the texts).

He currently works as an illustrator in the children’s publishing sector (Einaudi Ragazzi, Mondadori, Edizioni San Paolo, Edizioni Paoline, Giunti Scuola, Editoriale Scienza, Agenzia Book on a Tree, Agenzia Red Whale, Fiordaliso) and in the comic book field (Dark Horse Comics, Disney Pixar, Arancia Studio, Dupuis Editions, Editoriale Aurea, Gaghi Editore, Studio Renoir).
