Valdes Enrico

Enrico Valdes was born in Cagliari on September 23, 1945, and resides in the same city. He graduated from the “Giovanni Siotto Pintor” Classical High School in 1964 and obtained his degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Cagliari in 1970.

Specializing in Pathological Anatomy and Laboratory at the University of Milan, he worked at the Oncology Hospital and from 1981 to 2003, as Head of Department, at the SS Trinità Hospital in the capital of Sardinia.

He taught as a contract professor in the Specialization Schools of Pathological Anatomy, Thoracic Surgery, and Urology at the University.

He is a founding member of the Lions Club Cagliari Castello, where he has held multiple positions. He participated, from the early stages, in the establishment of the Lions Hospitality House, where he has held various roles on the Board of Directors.

For about ten years, he has dedicated himself to writing, publishing with Carlo Delfino Editore. He is one of the winners of the “Racconti nella rete” 2016 edition. His latest publication is a collection of short stories titled “La strada del re”, published by Delfino Editore.
