Coni Carlo

Carlo Coni, from Cagliari, holds a degree in political science and discovered his passion for the sea at an early age. He has always been fascinated by that vast blue expanse and began navigating it at the age of 10 aboard an old windsurfing board used as a canoe.

The school he attended and later the bank where he worked both overlooked the sea, and on spring days, he felt trapped. In 2010, he tried to turn his passion into a profession. He became a sea kayaking instructor and founded a sports association to promote the benefits of this discipline.

He began collaborating on school projects related to respect for and knowledge of nature, constantly striving to foster a new awareness of environmental issues, starting with young children.

At the age of 42, he fulfilled his dream: embarking on a kayaking journey around Sardinia—34 unforgettable days in close contact with nature. According to him, it was the most beautiful experience of his life.
