Pulixi Piergiorgio

Piergiorgio Pulixi was born in Cagliari in 1982.

He is part of the Sabot writing collective created by Massimo Carlotto, of whom he is a student. Together with Carlotto and the Sabot collective, he published “Perdas de fogu”, and individually, the novel on sexual slavery “Un amore sporco”, which is part of the noir trilogy “Donne a perdere”.

He is the author of the crime saga of Biagio Mazzeo, starting with the noir “Una brutta storia”, which was named the best noir of 2012 by the blogs Noir Italiano and 50/50 Thriller, and was a finalist for the Premio Camaiore 2013. It continued with “La notte delle pantere”, winner of the Premio Glauco Felici 2015, followed by “Per sempre” and “Prima di dirti addio”.

In 2014, for Rizzoli, he also published the novel “Padre Nostro” and the psychological thriller “L’appuntamento”, named the best thriller of 2014 by the readers of 50/50 Thriller and winner of the Premio Prunola 2016.

In 2015, he published “Il Canto degli innocenti” (Edizioni E/O), the first book of the thriller series “I canti del male”, which won the Premio Franco Fedeli 2015, the Premio Corpi Freddi Awards 2015, and the Premio Grotte della Gurfa 2016.

In 2016, he was awarded the Premio Serravalle Noir.

Some of his short stories have been published in “Manifesto”, “Left”, “Micromega”, and “Svolgimento”, as well as in various anthologies.

His novels are being published in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
