With the story “La corda d’argento”, he was declared one of the winners of the “Giovani Parole” competition, where at the Holden School in Turin, he received the prize: a course on narrative techniques.
In 2004, the novel “Ordinary” was published.
In 2008, the publishing house Edigiò published an illustrated fairy tale, “Il cristallo del cuore”, which was also used in elementary schools as a reading text for workshops and exercises.
In June 2008, “Ordinary” became a theatrical performance as part of the Special Theater Project 2007/2008, sponsored by the Municipality of Rome, in collaboration with SIAE and IMAIE.
In November 2009, the publishing house Edigiò published “La reggia di luce”, the sequel to “Il cristallo del cuore”. For Diamond, he wrote the first fantasy novel, “Il seme della speranza”.
In 2012, the short story collection “Sul ciglio del dirupo” was released by Ded’A Edizioni.
In May 2013, also for Ded’A Edizioni, a newly rewritten edition of “Ordinary” was released, the first AR-BOOK in Italy, while its comic version was published shortly after.
At the end of 2014, the short story collection “Sul ciglio del dirupo” was published in America with the title “On the edge” (DeBooks) in a bilingual version (Italian and English), and he was invited to present it at NYU and the Italian Embassy in Washington DC.
In 2020 (Watson) and 2021 (Scatole Parlanti, with a preface by Alessandro Cecchi Paone), two new editions of “Il seme della speranza” were released, and the book was used as a reading text or for workshops in various middle schools and high schools.
Recently, Avagliano published “Bambi. Storia di una metamorfosi”, the trilogy with Bambi as the protagonist. The first chapter of this trilogy was also released in Spanish. He collaborated on the creation of the series “Refuge”, produced by Lucky Red, and wrote two in-depth modules on journalism and LGBTQIA+ literature for the university volume “Manuale di studi LGBTQIA+” (UTET).
